Coleman 15' x 12' Shade Shelter

We bought this to go camping with. It is perfect. Very light weight. It has not only metal stakes but also string tethers to keep it secured and anchored to the ground. (unlike some canopies that don't come with any type of anchors and you have to use sand bags.) It is great for camping. We used it on a 4 days camping trip. Placed it over the picnic table and coleman campstove table at our campsite. It covered everything nicely. And it kept everthing that it was covering dry during about a 12 hour down pour and windy conditions. Easy enough to put up or take down. I have done it by myself a couple of times, but easier if you have help. Would recommend highly.

We really liked this canopy at first. It was relatively easy to set up on my own, and I'm only 5'4". We used it in our back yard for a summer get-together, and it was great in the heat of the August North Carolina sun. Then we took it to the beach. BIG MISTAKE! Even after we used the stakes to keep it in the sand (which I asked my strong-man hubby to do), the wind blew it right up out of the sand. We tried again, and one of the poles actually broke. We were so disappointed, because it gives a lot of shade and it gets easier to put up each time - only took me 10 minutes by the third time. If you want to use this product for camping or in your yard, I highly recommend it. But do not purchase it for the beach. On the bright side, I had no problems returning it to Coleman's.

So many to choose from, but this is the one. One person can set-up but two is better. Provides great shade coverage and there's plenty of room. We use it at the beach for a sand football tournament; great escape from the exhausting sun and heat.

We bought this tent for a family get together and it held up nicely. We got lots of comments about how nice the tent was also! This tent is easy to put together and disassemble, but I would recommend 2 people to keep it as easy as possible.

Toward the end of our picnic, there was heavy downpour and this tent kept 6 or so people nice and dry. We then left the tent up for about 2 more weeks and it held solid through a couple more storms.

Just so you get an idea of the size, you should be able to fit 2 6 foot long tables under the tent with seating for about 10 - 12 under its shade.

This canopy worked well once we got it up. We had some difficulty putting it together, the directions were a bit confusing, but not the end of the world. Once together, it would not stay straight, so we had to securely fasten it to the ground and to the bordering fence in order for it to stay up. Once secured it worked great. It even held up one night when there were almost tornado-like winds, and a lot of heavy rain; it only adjusted a bit. Overall very good, but it has to be securely fastened to the ground. Also we had ours setup in a corner of our back yard against a fence; I'm not sure how it would hold up without something firm for it to lean against.
