Doesn't Fit and Associated with Wrong Item
This is the wrong bag for the Pro Cat heater and does not fit. Amazon should remove it from the Pro Cat page and not sell them as a package. If you buy the heater, you will need to return this item. The picture is also misleading as the fabric is cheap canvas and nothing like what is pictured.

TOO BIG!
I just bought this case for the heater and wow it is TOO BIG! The little heater just gets put inside but there is nothing to keep it from banging into the base and the propane bottles. The case has two corner holders for propane bottles but nothing to hold the heater. Your heater and base may get damaged if you use it without some extra packing materials. I am using cardboard and bubble wrap to keep it all snug inside. This Heater needs a hard case. I hate sending things back so it will have to work. I guess it is better than not having a case. I camp all year round in my VW Pop Top.

Coleman Soft Black Case for Catalytic Heaters
The Coleman Soft Black Carry Case for Catalytic Heaters is, like all Coleman products, just the right fit for the Coleman Golf Cart Heater and two bottles of fuel. Try tucking all of that equipment under your arm and carrying your stadium blanket while holding the hand of a child!

Too Small Carry Bag
This bag is too small for the Colemman ProCat Catalytic Heater.
I was lead to believe it would accept all Coleman Heaters but this is not correct.
A larger Carry Case Bag is needed for the ProCat Heater.

Mixed feelings.
While I very much like the heater that this "case" was supposedly made to carry, I didn't find anything extraordinary about the case itself. It is indeed large enough to hold the heater, along with 3 mini propane tanks, possibly a 4th, and even a 5th, if you squeeze. Since I have multiple pieces of camping gear that utilizes these tanks, that's about how many I want to bring for a weekend, so I certainly use the product.

But other than that, there's nothing very special about it - it's really just a black, zippered bag. I guess "specially-designed" just means it happens to be large enough to hold the thing it was specially-designed for? Don't get me wrong, it's a nice enough bag, and the build quality is good. But it is unremarkable, and you could replace it with nearly any other bag of the same size.

The bag does have 2 elastic "propane tank cozies" stitched into the inner wall of the bag. And while I'm sure Coleman thinks this qualifies the bag as being "special," I found little value in the feature. For one, the pouches are undersized and it was quite a struggle to get the tanks into the cozies. And once they were in there, I just didn't see much of a reason for it. They didn't really "roll all around the bag" to begin with, so I took them back out for easier access. I have not bothered with them since.

I, for one, would like to see Coleman take this back to the design table and add some value to it. It's a good start, but with more thought and creativity, I bet they could make it a really worthwhile product. In the meantime, I'll keep my bag and make use of it, but I can't really recommend it to anyone who already has other acceptable means of carrying their camping gear.
