Very good bulb for your maglite flashlights
This replacement LED is very bright light, very long time of service. Less batteries with longer life of them. You will be suprised how the maglite shine the light to totaly long distances. I love my maglite even more after the replacement of the default bulb. If you are going to buy one, be sure you order also the "dummy" batteries, because this piece is running against 3D/3C cells so 6D cell maglite need at least 3 dummy ones to operate. It will make your flashlight little bit lighter.

Maglite brand luxeon
I bought the Maglite brand luxeon for $18.98 AT HOME DEPOT. Very satisfied with the product and alot cheaper than $30. I got one for a 3 cell and a second one for a 2 cell I use at work.

You can't buy a better bulb.
I have been an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 30 years and I use a flashlight every day and this is the best flashlight bulb I have ever seen. I use it in a 3 "C" cell maglite. it's very bright and vertually industructable and the batteries last 10 time longer. Do not hesitate to buy this bulb, you will not be sorry.

Diamond Review
I purchased a 3 watt Maglite Bulb from Home Depot, and also purchased this bulb thinking it would be brighter. I was wrong. The Maglite is noticably brighter, and costs around $17.00

An Average LED bulb
I have 2 bulbs from Diamond. The led bulbs works, but are not very bright and they produce a doughnut shape beam. The bulbs I have produce a dark spot in the middle of the beam that no amount of adjustment with a Mag-lite flashlight will get rid of. The 3W led bulbs that Mag-lite is now producing for their flashlights are substantially brighter, produce a solid circular beam, and cost less.
