High Sierra Carry-On Laptop Tote (Black)

purchased this bag for a new laptop and accessories. Bag and it's functionality turned out to be better then I expected. well laid out. Lots of space. quick access back zipper to access just laptop works great. you can really load this bag up with lots of other books and files along with laptop and it holds up great. pretty comfortable to carry for this type of bag. I buy again in a second.

We needed a bag that would take my daughter to Mexico City; and this one fit the bill. It has places for everything including passport so it was not necessary to carry her purse. The construction is rugged so I think it will hold up well. What it lacks in style it more than makes up for in its function.

Nicely made product, reasonable price.

Normal PC briefcases have a lot of spaces for carrying papers, notebooks, etc. I need to carry STUFF, i.e., items that are more bulky--my lunch, workout clothes, maybe a sweater or sweatshirt. A normal PC briefcase doesn't have the capacity I need.

The High Sierra Carry-On Laptop Tote, however, has a much larger main compartment to accomodate the items I carry. Not huge, but larger. What few papers I need to carry, I just put in with the laptop in its compartment.

Extra zippered compartments hold my iPod, security badge, pager, etc., with a handy clip for my car keys.

Its well-constructed. It should last a long time for me, even dragging it back and forth to work on the bus.

Suggestions for improvement: (1) I'd like a main compartment that was still a little larger (the current size does hold what I need, but a larger main compartment would be on my wish list), and (2) the shoulder strap tended to slip off, so I replaced it with the one from my former laptop briefcase (one side of that pad is rubberised, which keeps the strap from slipping off my shoulder).

Oh, and that second zipper that allows laptop access without opening the main compartment turns out to be quite handy, indeed.

Well made and plenty large enough! Love the outer zipper for easy access to laptop. It is perfect for travel!!! I would not change a thing ( and I'm picky!)

I have several computer bags and even more briefcases, and this is the bag I've been looking for. I travel weekly, and fly often. My rolling computer case does not fit in the overhead of regional jets, so I've been carrying a backpack for my laptop. I don't like that method either.
The High Sierra tote is a great bag. Well made, all metal zippers and hardware, and soft structured. It fits my 15" laptop, all the extra cables, my day planner plus a book and snacks easily. The back zipper access to the laptop makes airport security much faster. And, it fits in the overhead on regional jets.
this bag would work just as well as a weekend getaway bag, a change of clothes would fit nicely.
The only problem I have now is what to do with all the extra bags in my closet. Highly reccommended.
