No need to buy ice, but if you want ice, this cooler will keep it longer than an ice bucket (just keep the ice in a sealed container inside the cooler). A full 33 liter capacity of Koolatron B33 kool wheeler holds 54 12oz drinks. 2 liter bottles stand upright. Koolatron B33 kool wheeler can be used in the chest or fridge positions as desired. It's totally unaffected by tilt or angle or motion. Full opening lid also has a small hatch for quick access. Great for small children so they don't have to try to lift the larger lid. Internal shelf/divider can fit in two positions. It has small compartment in lid for storing cord when not in use.
