My daughter requested this on her Birthday Wish List. She's been recovering from a traumatic brain injury for the last two years and making wonderful progress. Her therapist suggested something like this for helping balance when walking up and downhill. She loves it because its rubber tip allows practicing in the house without scratching the floors. I bought this as a gift for my grandson and was very impressed when it arrived. It is exactly as described and he is going to be thrilled this weekend when he receives it. It is very lightweight and perfect for a 10 year old. I love the interchangeable tips and I know this will impress him. This is going to make grandma a hit!

P.S. I noticed when reviewing walking sticks on Amazon that many customers mentioned that their stick choice would make a good weapon against muggers! What a world we live in! But I daresay my stick would be quite useful in that respect, certainly superior to an old lady's purse!
