good little light
I bought this light a while ago at Home Depot for about $5 and change. It is a fairly good light for what it is. It not going to illuminate a room, but for small area applications,it's just fine. I use mine for the bed of my truck. Use industrial strength velcro instead of the sticky tape on the back and you won't go wrong. This is no Surefire flashlight,But if the lights go out and you need a little light, this one is pretty good

Don't Buy!!!
If you are buying these for your kitchen...don't. These lights do not stick well and put of a very dim, very blue colored light, not a nice warm light as you would expect for an under cabinet light. Invest in some nice halogens if under cabinet light is what you are looking for. As a matter of fact... I don't know where you would need an extremely dim, space ship looking/ colored light, that continually falls from it's desired location, but if you do...buy away!!! We bought six and all six are now part of my daughter's play kitchen...in the fridge, in the stove, etc.. She absolutely loves them. They are great for play but not for the real world!!!

bright lights
While the brightness of these lights surprised me, I think spending more than 15 dollars for one is insane. It's true they run on batteries but they only last up to 30 hours, if that. The description says 100 hours. Not true, unless my batteries are horrible or old (I don't think so- they're energizer batteries).

Anyway, if you're willing to whip out some serious money, you can buy one for a few pretty pennies. Otherwise, the flashlight is a nice creation.
