Therm-a-Rest Lumbar Pillow (Blue)

As others have mentioned, it inflates and deflates very easily and is small enough to fit into a carry-on or coat pocket. Although it is a bit more expensive than other pillows of this type, it is well worth the price. It is extremely well-made and unlike many other inflatables that fall apart after a few uses, it is not made of vinyl. The outside seams are heat welded together and the fabric is either nylon or polyester with a slick surface that feels good against the skin in warm or cold weather. The size is perfect for either men or women. I give this pillow 5 stars.

The Therm-a-Rest lumbar pillow is the best lumbar support device that I've come across. I've tried other inflatable supports, a buckwheat hull pillow, and standard throw pillows, and this has them beat. The shape is just right, and the self-inflating valve works great. I can adjust the inflation very easily for whatever purpose is needed (driving, airline flights, sitting at home). Plus, it's very small and easy to carry around. I ended up buying two - one to keep in my car and the other for general use.

If you are pregnant and/or suffer lower back pain, this pillow is the BEST!!! I'm 7 months pregnant and I take it with me EVERYWHERE! I use it in the car, on my chair at work, in restaurants, at the movie theater, at home... If I let the air out of it, it's small enough to roll up and fit inside my purse. I start with it fully inflated when I use it and then let out air a little bit until it's perfect for wherever I'm sitting. After using this product I don't think I would be satisfied with lumbar support that's not adjustable. Plus, being made by Therm-a-Rest, this product is top quality. It is very durable. If you've never used a Therm-a-Rest product, know that it's virtually impossible for the air to leak.

This product is great for airline travel - it takes very little room in the carry-on and you don't have to fight for a pillow!
