Swiss Army Champ
I bought this for my fiance, he loves it and he used it all the time.
He was surprise of how many gadgets the knife has and always finding new things on the knife.
I search a lot through different web pages for something special like this one and the best price was Amazon.
It got here on time, my fiance like it so much that I bought another one to send to my son in law in the Philippines.
He is really going to enjoy it very much.

Upgraded indispensible classic!
This is also the second Victorinox Swiss Army Swiss Champ Pocket Knife (Red) that I have owned, the previous one for about four years. I lost that one when I failed to pack it in my "check-in" luggage at the airport. (I've carried one for so long that I sometimes forget to take it out of my pocket before check-in. Don't let this happen to you!)
Before owning this model, I owned the cheaper model "Champ Plus" (deceptively named!) for 40-odd years (reviewed separately), and could not live without one. For comparative purposes, I have also owned several models of "Leatherman" and other multi-tools. These have secure places in my toolbox or vehicle, but for all their merits they lack one or more of the many ingenious features of the item under review, notably the outstanding miniaturization of so many features. And even the miniature models of the competitors do not live up to the "do anything, anywhere, anytime" expectations I have of the Swiss Army brand.
As an investment, I'd say this multi-tool is outstanding. Eventually, no matter what you pay for it, the replacement cost outstrips the original price. Buy one NOW, for goshsakes!

Not too big!!!
After reading the reviews, I was worried this would be huge and too big to be useful. Wrong! It isn't that big at all. It's perfect. It isn't tiny by any means, with all those tools it's going to be bigger than some other Swiss Army Knives. Anyway, after seeing it and holding it in my hand I am very pleased and not worried at all that it is too big. I'm sure my brother-n-law will love it!

A 20-year Evaluation
I bought mine over 20 years ago, and I've used it regularly for all 20. I've turned nuts and bolts with it, removed splinters with it, repaired my glasses with it (many times), cut down small trees with it, ... you get the picture. I don't like to travel without it. One consequence of 9-11 is that I can't take it by air unless I check a bag. Bummer.

I've been a pocket knife collector, so I recognize quality when I find it. In 20 years nothing has worn out. If you're familiar with Victorinox, you know their quality is extremely high. The scissors, for example are precision stainless. I do use a drop of oil where the various blades rub against the backspring. The blades still pop like new.

When I bought it, the Champ was the most complete Victorinox knife made, and I think it still is. There will likely be one or two items on it that you never use, but so what? It's kind of like a dictionary: nobody reads the whole thing; the value is in the fact that it's all there when you need it. I've got many hundreds of tools in my garage, yet, even when I'm surrounded by may tools, I'll often grab this thing because it's convenient.

Some people will react negatively by saying it's too bulky to carry every day. That's true for me too when I'm wearing dress clothes. Still, I wouldn't change anything about it. It's big enough to be sturdy and get things done. It's small enough to carry comfortably in a jeans pocket. It's bulk also helps keep it from getting lost.

To summarize, it is, as far as I know, the highest quality, most complete, Swiss army knife made. It has a finish that glitters like jewelry and precision, reliability, and stamina that remind me of a Lexus LS. You won't go wrong buying it for yourself or giving it as a gift. I paid about $80 20 years ago. Best $80 I ever spent.

Best Swiss Army Knife I Ever Owned!!!
Got this because I love gadgets and this sure has enough for the most demanding gadget freak!! It even has a tiny little screwdriver wedged in the corkscrew that you can use to tighten your glasses or even take the back off your watch. It has everything I use...pliers, scissors, and the most handy magnifying glass. This is a great product to use as needed and a must have as a survival knife in case of a disaster. Pair this with the mini LED light Victorinox offers and you are PREPARED !!!! Buy it. Remember to get a nice sheath to protect your knife!!!!
