Coleman 5008C700T Camping Coffeemaker, Black

Just tried it for the first time. Coffee tasted as good as any Mr Coffee, but it took just under 30 minutes to brew a full pot with the flame on high. Worked good but don't be in a hurry for your coffee.

Agree with other posters here. Works well but a little slow. We went with a large group and one of the ways that we tried to combat this is to have a thermos and woke up a little before the group. Started brewing ahead of the group and filled up to try and stay ahead of the demand. We used to use french presses but having to clean them after every use was a little demanding while camping. This is much easier.

This is a great DRIP coffee maker....just like home. We no longer need to search for a tenting site with electricity to have great coffee, without the grounds and the 1/2 hour wait. Crank your Coleman stove up and have fresh coffee in a few minutes. The campground owner did a double take when he brought a newspaper to me, and saw this coffee maker working. he thought i had run an extension cord ! I highly recommend this coffee maker.

After researching this coffee pot I had mixed feelings whether or not it would make quick good tasting coffee. I'm very pleased to say it makes Wonderful coffee and really quick !..Loved the fact you can grab a cup of coffee while its still making, I forgot to pack the filters and sub'ed a papertowel and not 1 single grain of coffee made its way into the coffee pot.I had campers asking me if I had a spare cup of coffee they could get :-) Many campers said this was the best tasting coffee they have had camping and sure beat the heck out of the perk coffee they have been doing for years.I'm very pleased with the coffee maker and would buy this again if and when I need too.

I love this item, but it's quite slow on the low-pressure stove on my tent trailer. Might be faster on a standard coleman-type stove, I don't know.

Sturdy and well constructed. The box has held up for storage and transport for four years so far. If you have the room and demand drip coffee, not perked, this is for you.
