Garrity Power Lite 3 LED Crank Light (Titanium Silver/Black)

I bought this for my 9 year old. Great light, no batteries needed, they just crank and go. One thing I don't like, cranking it is loud and the faster you crank the louder it gets, which is fine until you try to get some rest and see this light flashing and hear the crank cranking.

I purchased the light and the switch worked only a few times, we hadn't even removed it from the packaging when it quit working. I think I would have liked it but I really didn't get to find out because the switch quit working so quickly.

These flashlights are great! They're easy enough for my kids to crank and we don't have to change batteries anymore. The light is plenty bright for reading under the covers or playing flashlight tag or for use in emergencies.

As wind-up flashlights go, this one is fine. It is harder to crank and not as bright as the Wind-n-Go, which I also have. Don't know about run time, but it works for small jobs.

We had bought a cheap model last year and found that no matter how long you wound it the light grew dim fast. No so with the Garrity. Once you wind it up the flashlight stays bright for a very long time. I decided to buy it because of all the great product reviews on Amazon and am very glad I did so.
